Information you provide

If you call (303) 529-8713 or submit the referral form, we may receive your name, phone number, email address, municipality, ZIP code, a description of your home and heat pump project, and any other details you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request, connect you with an independent local heat pump installer, prevent spam, and keep basic operational records.

Please don't submit passwords, payment-card information, medical information, or other sensitive information through the form. The installer you're referred to may collect more information under its own privacy policy when you deal with them directly.

Sharing

We share the request details needed to make the referral with one relevant local heat pump installer. We may use service providers for hosting, form delivery, analytics, spam prevention, and call tracking.

We don't sell your form information as a list, and we don't send a single request to multiple contractors for bidding.

Analytics and call tracking

The site may use Google Analytics and privacy-respecting site analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the pages.

Calls may be routed through a tracking number so we can measure whether the referral service is actually working. The call-routing provider may have call recording and voicemail features turned on. If you don't want a call recorded, don't share sensitive information on it, or ask to be called back on the installer's direct line.

Spam prevention

The referral form uses a honeypot field and Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real submissions apart from automated ones. Turnstile may process limited technical information about your browser session for that purpose, under Cloudflare's own privacy terms.

Retention and choices

We keep referral information only as long as reasonably necessary for the referral, operational records, legal obligations, and security.

You can contact us to ask what information we hold about a request, to ask that we stop using it for a referral, or to ask that we delete it. Some records may have to be kept where we're required to retain them. You can also tell the installer directly to stop contacting you.

Third-party sites

This site links to contractor websites, Xcel Energy, and other third parties. Their privacy practices are separate from ours, and we aren't responsible for them.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site's data practices change. The date at the top shows the most recent update.
